Blue House Pale AleBlue House Pale Ale

• ABV-5.5%
• Malts — American 2-Row, Crystal
• Hops — Cascade, Columbus

Our pale is firmly bitter, light bodied, with a good aroma and a lively carbonation. It is meant to be immediately drinkable, and approachable for the majority of beer drinkers. We invite the craft beer neophyte to the table and ask him to embrace flavor, bitterness, and aroma. Sure, there is more bitterness and character than a macro-lager, but it still finishes clean and is unquestionably quaffable. The perfect "lawnmower" beer. Nothing fancy, just good, refreshing Beer.

Citra Pale

• ABV-5.5%
• Malts — American 2-Row, Vienna
• Hops — CITRA!!! and maybe som others for bittering...

The base is a very straighforward and balanced American Pale. Then, we add an insane amount of Citra for a Double Dry-hop. The result? A hop monster with a whole lotta citrus aroma up in yo face! Our pale is the perfect pedestal to showcase this absolutely fantastic flower. Plus, at only 5.5%, you can drink hops all day long.

White Dog IPA

• ABV-6.7%
• Malts — American 2-Row, Crystal, White Wheat
• Hops — Nelson Sauvin, Cascade, Chinook, Columbus

Named for Rob's dog, the White alludes to our use of 50% wheat instead of barley in this beer. Aside from that though, this beer has very little in common with what most people consider a "wheat" beer. The wheat in the malt bill gives the beer a lighter texture and mouthfeel, and helps to accentuate the bright citrus characters of the fruity West Coast and New Zealand hops we use. The result is an IPA that Hop Heads will love, but that is immediately approachable for most people.

Blue House IPA Blue House IPA

• ABV-7.0%
• Malts — American 2-Row, Crystal, Munich
• Hops — Simcoe, Cascade

Full bodied and a deep amber tone. Our flagship IPA is bursting with fruity hop character, balanced by a rich, silky body with a dry finish. The Simcoe hop makes its distinct presence known prominent pine and passionfruit notes. This beer may have a bit more body and texture than some West Coast IPA's, but we sure do make up for it by adding as many fruity aroma hops as is responsible (or maybe just a bit more).

Hyperion's Double Stout Hyperion's Stout

• ABV-7.5%
• Malts — American 2-Row, Chocolate, Crystal 40, Crystal 80, Crystal 120, Black Patent
• Hops — Columbus

A nod to our neighbor by the beach as well as the Grecian Titan Deity. This beer is for chocolate lovers. A bit on the sweet side, with a nice dark roasted coffee bitterness to balance. A huge chocolate presence throughout supported by a heady, velvety texture with creamy carbonation.

Two 5 Left DIPA

• ABV-8.2%
• Malts — Two Row
• Hops — Simcoe, Citra, Cascade, Chinook

A brazenly hop-forward beast of a beer, with a huge passionfruit nose. A subtle caramel character provides a malt backbone to shoulder the massive amount of dry-hopping that gives this beer its unique aroma and hop flavor. Two 5 Left is the runway that sends planes screaming right over El Segundo. We always knew we would name a beer after this local landmark and when it came to naming our first Double IPA, it fit the bill perfectly.

Availability - Limited - We will make this beer around 6 times in 2013. Make sure to get on our email list to find out when we are releasing the next batch!

Standard Crude

• ABV-10.2%
• Malts — American 2-Row, Crystal 40, Crystal 120, SRM-48.1, Crystal 150, Black Patent, Chololate, Oats
• Hops — Chinook IBU-54

An American Imperial Stout..since, why should the Russians get all the recognition! All malted barley with just a sprinkling of oats for texture. This beer is roasty throughout with many deep undertones of blackberry, cassis, tobacco and leather. The layers of malt reveal themselves one by one as the beer changs in the glass. Take your time with this one. Enjoy now, or lay it down in yor cellar for a few years!

Availability - Brewed once a year in December. Look for it at our taproom, in bottles or a select few beer bars.

In addition to our featured ales, we always have something going on at the tasting room as far as an experimental recipe. Be sure to check out our Events page for our Tasting Room Hours.
